Arsenal FC were finally able to reach an agreement with Scottish league club, Celtic, for right back, Kieran Tierney.
It is claimed that the Gunners were able to seal the transfer deal for £28 million with reports adding that Tierney after the two clubs reached an agreement on Wednesday had flown to London the next day to sign the new deal that will see him remain at Emirates Stadium for the next 5 years.
Tierney is a good signing for Arsenal, however, he is an injury-prone player and it would take a lot of work from him to manage the excesses of the Premier League without sustaining an injury.
Also, Arsenal have completed the transfer of Brazil star, David Luiz from Chelsea.
The Gunners reportedly paid £8 million as transfer fee for the centre-back and have offered him a 2-year contract. He would make a fine replacement for Laurent Koscielny, who left Arsenal for Bordeaux this summer.
Luiz left Stamford Bridge after a row with the Blues chiefs. Report also disclosed that coach Frank Lampard told him he is not in his plan for the new season.
The way Arsenal conducted their transfer business under Emery was quite different from yester years and we hope the new season will be too.
